  • and Lots of Love!

Healthy snacks are not always easy to find or can very expensive  at the local store. This is an easy-to-make inexpensive dessert or anytime-you-want snack.

I would recommend soaking the nuts the night before you use them. There is a chemical on the outside of nuts that keeps them from growing until the spring rain washes it away. This is nature’s way to ensure the baby plants doesn’t grown until it’s time. This chemical can irritate stomachs and its better if rinsed off. If you don’t like the way nuts taste after soaking just let them dry for 24 hours and your almonds will be very much the same as before but better tasting.

This recipe was provided by a friend that primarily eats a raw diet.

Directions:

Add all ingredients in a food processor and buzz or mix. Add 2 Tbl of agave syrup (and 1 Tbl of water if needed) and buzz again until mixture falls from sides of container, then form into balls and roll in shredded coconut and ENJOY!!
