- 1 Pound Green Beans, ends trimmed and cut in half
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 Small Onion, chopped
- 3 Cloves Garlic, graded
- 8 – 10 Shitake Mushrooms, sliced
- ¼ Cup White Wine
- 1 Tablespoon low sodium soy sauce
- 2 Tablespoons hot sauce
- 1 tablespoon lemon Juice
- Sea Salt and Pepper to taste
There are a number of dishes you can make with Green beans, 3 bean salad, green beans with veggie bacon etc… I like this recipe as it spices up your green bean experience.

Cooking Time: 15 minutes Prep & 15 minutes cooking
Directions:
- Use a large sauce pan on medium heat and add olive oil
- Add the mushrooms and stir occasionally until starting to get soft then
- Add garlic and onions, cook until soft and tender
- Add white wine, soy sauce and hot sauce stir for about 2 minutes.
- Add the green beans and add lemon juice on top.
- Cook for about 10 minutes until beans are cooked. Stir occasionally to evenly cook.
- Add sea salt and pepper taste.
