An American favorite… a good, satisfying burger. I have some excellent recipes for making your own veggie burgers and, yes, making your own is always better. However, I like to include easy-to-make dinner options because sometimes everyone just need a good, fast and easy meal.

It’s so much easier to be a vegetarian than in the past. Now, many restaurants in major cities offer a vegetarian options to their burger selection. A number of years back, I was on a day-long job interview with my future coworkers and they took me to lunch. I thought I would be safe ordering a veggie burger. My meal arrived– a beef burger with veggies on top… a veggie burger!

Sweet Earth veggie burger is a healthy product that can be purchased at Whole Food and other health food stores. The buns are a popular brand, Alvarado St, that is 100% organic, sprouted whole wheat. The process of sprouting wheat berries provides a healthier protein because it includes all the elements of the wheat berries. This is always a healthier option to the more processed white wheat bread.
